  • Nestle contracts Tangerine to provide brand activation signage in Maputo Province
  • Vodacom engages Tangerine to manufacture 5000 sandwich boards
  • Tangerine does in-store activations for Dettol and demonstrations of Harpic
  • Coca-Cola appoints Tangerine as their research partner. We continue to audit over 7,000 stores per month countrywide, providing mission critical information to management on store performance
  • CIM renews merchandising, foot soldiers and activations contract

Coca-Cola extends its retail auditing programme countrywide and expands the team size

Tangerine manufactures and supplies 5,000 timber frame sandwich boards to Vodacom

Signs Commercial Industries of Matola (CIM) for country-wide modern trade merchandising and foot soldier sales teams operating in informal markets

Cerveja de Mozambique (CDM) engages Tangerine to activate and sell a non-alcoholic fortified drink (Super Maheu)

Commercial Industries of Matola (CIM) contracts Tangerine to activate four of their leading brands with road shows, sampling, wet demos, community demo’s and in-store

Provantage awards Tangerine Nivea in-store activations in local supermarkets and modern trade

2015

Signs Unilever for 24 month contract to provide merchandising and in-store promotions country wide.

Re-signs Coca-Cola retail audits country wide and expands team.

Re-signs Coca-Cola retail dealer signage activations for southern region.

Completes highly successful pilot project in Gaza Province, for national Vodacom user registration contract.Coca-Cola audits hit the 7000 shops per month mark.

Vodacom engages Tangerine to manufacture signage elements for their trade marketing activities country wide.

2014

Signs pilot merchandising contract with Unilever addressing modern trade and informal markets and in-store promotions.

Wins tender for the provision of branding materials to Mozambique Celular.

2013

Signs joint contract with MCEL and Samsung for the provision of a promotional/sales vehicle and supply of point of sale equipment and material.

2012

Signs Distell for 6 month contract to provide an outsourced sales team to work with key distributors as part of a market share drive initiative.

2011

Signs Vodacom for 12 months for the retail dealer signage activations Central and North regions.

Renews Samsung field marketing contract enlists as retail partner.

Resigns mcel corporate social responsibility beach cleaning project

2010

Resigns a further 12 month contract with Samsung and extends the service to the central region and adds Consumer electronics to the portfolio.

2008

Tangerine signs Coca-Cola for retail auditing operating in Maputo and the adjacent city of Matola, conducting over 3000 individual audits per month.

Continues to grow MCEL's sub dealer base on average 250 new shops per month

2007

Tangerine signs Coca-Cola as sole supplier for the retail dealer signage activations countrywide.

2006

Tangerine secures a three year contract with MCELto conduct field marketing services in Maputo, Matola and neighboring towns.

2005

Tangerine registers in Mozambique as a Limited Company by its shareholders, Allan Beaton
and Mandy Matthews.

 

Tangerine signs their first contract with MCEL’sCSR department and takes on its first role in Black Economic Empowerment, as well as environmental and community upliftment.
