UNILEVER 2014 - PRESENT
In August 2014, Unilever contracted Tangerine to provide and manage a team of 43 merchandisers to address their Modern Trade, Local Modern Trade and Open Markets sales channels. Our responsibilities include maintaining high levels of On-Shelf Availability (OSA), Share of Shelf (SOS) and displaying their wide range of FMCG products in line with Unilever’s corporate guidelines. As of 2015, the team has grown to 58 looking after markets and retail outlets country wide.
Critical market-related information is captured daily and reported to management in weekly and monthly reports. Our supervisors provide daily reports to the client on market and stock status, along with competitor reports, pictures and activities. Prior to Tangerine’s involvement, the client had very little market info and was only providing shelf packing services to their retail partners, with limited sales efforts within the informal/open markets. Tangerine provides sales staff and merchandising, backed by professional reporting that is contributing considerably to their growth in sales.
